Set in the heart of South Australia’s Barossa Valley, this bold yet finely balanced GSM blend is handcrafted from low-yielding vineyards that deliver depth, savoury complexity, and vivid fruit concentration. Built on the classic southern Rhône trio of Grenache (47%), Syrah (28%), and Mourvèdre (25%), La Résistance is made with a minimal-intervention philosophy allowing site and season to speak clearly then matured for nine months in seasoned French oak barrels to refine texture while preserving freshness and energy.

Richly fruited and expressive, Grenache brings generous red-berry lift and warmth, Syrah contributes dark spice and structure, and Mourvèdre anchors the wine with earthy savour and length. The seasoned oak adds subtle frame and polish rather than overt sweetness, creating a wine that is both vibrant and composed. Unfined, unfiltered, and vegan-friendly, it’s crafted for purity, character, and a naturally textured finish.

A confident, modern Barossa red recognised with a Silver Medal at the London Wine Competition 2025 this GSM is ideal alongside slow-braised lamb, grilled meats, or a smoky vegetable tagine, where its layered fruit and savoury edge can really shine.

"Bountiful fresh cherries and raspberries burst over the vanilla chocolate intensity. Weighty and complex with lush tannins and a vibrant acidity woven into the frame."

95 points Andrew Caillard MW & Ken Gargett, The Vintage Journal, May 2025
"Medium-deep crimson. Lovely raspberry, blackberry pastille aromas with roasted walnut, hint peppery notes. Red and black fruits on the palate with roasted nut, hint wax polish notes. Finishes chalky/ al dente firm and crunchy with peppery/ spicy notes. Lovely fruit complexity and vigour. A cracker at this price point. Drink now–2030."
