Crisp, fresh Pinot Grigio from Langhorne Creek – the perfect pick for warm weather and light meals.
Langhorne Creek, located on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, is one of the country’s oldest wine regions, renowned for its cooling ocean breezes and fertile soils. While Cabernet Sauvignon may be the region’s star, its versatility shines through with other varieties like Pinot Grigio. The region’s sandy loam soils and moderated climate create the perfect environment for crafting bright, refreshing white wines.
The 2024 BackVintage Langhorne Creek Pinot Grigio captures the lively, fresh character that defines the region. Selected from two premium vineyard blocks, the grapes were cool-fermented and stored on lees for a short time, ensuring a crisp, vibrant palate. With floral aromas of white flowers, pear, and lychee, and a light-to-medium body, this wine finishes with bright acidity and beautiful length. Ideal for pairing with seafood and salads or simply enjoyed on its own, the 2024 Pinot Grigio is best consumed while it’s young and fresh, before the end of 2026.
