Nestled in the renowned Margaret River region of Western Australia, this winery captures the essence of one of the country’s most celebrated cool-climate wine regions. Shaped by strong maritime influences and pristine growing conditions, the landscape is defined by its ability to produce wines of balance, elegance and intensity.
The 2021 Shiraz reflects a standout vintage, with an early start to the season followed by warm spring conditions and an ideal summer. A dry growing period led to lower yields, resulting in fruit of remarkable concentration and purity. The outcome is a wine that speaks clearly of its origin, showcasing the finesse and vibrancy that define Margaret River Shiraz.

"It's splendidly fruited and enticing on the nose, showing blackberry, bouquet garni, smoked game and cedar characters. The palate offers excellent weight and silky flow, combined with velvety texture and fine-grained tannins, leading to a lengthy satisfying finish."
93 Points Jane Faulkner Halliday Wine Companion, Dec 2024
"Packed to the rafters with flavour led by sweet, rich fruit yet tempered by lots of savoury inputs. The warming spices, the cedary oak, bresaola and pepper all add to its pleasure. Fuller bodied yet not too weighty with starchy tannins and decent length plus everything spread with refreshing acidity."

"If the Cabernet from the Margaret River wasn’t just so good, the region’s Shiraz would receive far more attention, its just dues. This is a really good example. Deep red hue and good intensity here, with notes of bay leaves, chocolate, animal skins, black olives, cherries, dry herbs and a hint of oak, which is well integrated. An appealing soft and supple texture follows, the structure is seamless and the wine well balanced with excellent length. Interesting wine in that it starts quite deceptively, not suggesting the glories to follow. But follow they do as it picks up richness and grace. Impressive. Drink for six to ten years."
