The Pinot Noir is a delicate and expressive wine from the rolling hills of Victoria’s Yarra Valley, showcasing precision, vibrancy, and subtle complexity. Composed of fruit from School Lane (85%) and McWilliams Seville (15%) vineyards, the wine reflects the region’s cool climate and nuanced terroir.

In the glass, it displays a vibrant ruby hue, offering a layered aromatic profile of red cherry, raspberry, wild herbs, sweet spice, and the subtle earthiness of petrichor. On the palate, the wine is light to medium-bodied with bright, lively acidity, revealing flavours of cranberry, dried cherry, sour plum, and bay leaf. Gentle oak maturation and eight months on lees contribute texture and finesse, enhancing the wine’s elegance and persistence.

Crafted from hand-picked parcels, with 5% fermented as whole-bunch, the wine was pressed to French oak (4% new) and matured carefully before bottling in December 2024.

This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with mushroom risotto, roasted duck breast, or lightly grilled salmon, highlighting its layered complexity and freshness.

Colour: Vibrant ruby in colour

Nose: Delivering aromas of red cherry, raspberry, petrichor, sweet spice and wild herbs.

Palate: The palate is light to medium weight with bright acidity, showing flavours of cranberry, dried cherry, sour plum and bay.

"Delicious and beautifully composed, this is a standout Yarra Valley Pinot Noir that delivers immediate charm and polish. The nose is lifted and floral, showing pretty red cherry, wild strawberry, and rose petal, with subtle hints of spice and a gentle savoury nuance adding depth.
The palate is elegant and finely balanced, with pure red fruit flowing effortlessly across the tongue. Silky tannins and bright, natural acidity provide shape and finesse, creating a seamless, graceful mouthfeel. There is real poise here, flavourful yet light on its feet, finishing long, smooth, and irresistibly silky.
A refined, expressive Pinot Noir that combines fragrance, balance, and texture with confidence. Outstanding value at this level of quality."

"Wonderfully composed and expressed, showing dark berry, dried herb, fennel, star anise, and toasted almond characters. The palate displays a finely flowing mouthfeel, combined with silky texture and layers of polished tannins, making it sturdy yet supple with a lingering, complex finish. At its best: now to 2032."
