A vibrant blend from a female-led winery, combining two of McLaren Vale’s finest grapes.
This wine is crafted by a dynamic and trailblazing woman who is the first female vigneron from one of Australia’s oldest and most respected wine families. With over 170 years of winemaking heritage behind her, she leads the charge in producing innovative, premium wines that honour her family’s rich legacy while pushing the boundaries of modern Australian winemaking.
Sourced from a vineyard planted by her father in the early 1990s, this wine embodies her vision of combining the best of tradition with a forward-thinking approach. Grown on east facing sandy slopes in McLaren Vale, the fruit ripens under ideal conditions, creating a blend that offers rich, plush flavours balanced by aromatic spice. The result? A wine that is both generous and elegant – an authentic reflection of the pioneering spirit behind it.
A sensational blend of juicy berries and savoury spice
Colour: Deep ruby with youthful vibrancy.
Nose: A fragrant punch of black cherry, raspberry, and savoury spice.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied with juicy red berry fruits, lifted spice, and smooth, supple tannins, rounded out by subtle oak influences from its time in seasoned French barrels.
Food Pairing: Ideal with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or simply enjoyed on its own for a balanced, satisfying experience. Enjoy from now to 2028.

"From the sandy soils of the family’s vineyard in the Blewitt Springs sub-region, fermentation of the two varieties was done discretely, followed by subsequent blending. With eight days on skins before pressing to older French hogsheads for eight months maturation. Vibrant purple, this is still very young but delightfully fresh. Notes of plums, dark berries, smoked meats and florals, there is an attractively supple texture with decent length and very soft tannins. Like this a lot. Delicious now and for the next three to four years."
91 points Sam Kim, WineOrbit, Jan 2024."Attractively fruited and fragrant, the bouquet shows dark plum, sweet cherry, thyme and roasted nut aromas, followed by a succulent palate displaying supple texture and silky tannins. Beautifully rounded and flavoursome with a lengthy rounded finish. At its best: now to 2030."
