BackVintage | Grenache | 2024

Top Value, Huon Hooke, The Real Review, January 2025. “Medium-light depth of purple-tinted colour, the nose fresh and young with simple sweet raspberry bonbon grenache fruit, uncomplicated by oak, although there are ample tannins to give the wine some ageing potential which would possibly see it build some complexity. Very smart wine in a young, simple style and excellent value.”

2 x Mystery Gem | Frankland River | Shiraz 2021

93 points Sam Kim, WineOrbit, Dec 2022.
"Sweetly fruited and inviting on the nose with spiced cherry, plum, subtle vanilla and assorted nut aromas, it's plump and rounded in the mouth offering ripe fruit intensity with smooth mouthfeel. Silky and lingering with tasty flavours. At its best: now to 2030."

BackVintage Block 8 Shiraz 2021

Top Value, Huon Hooke, The Real Review, January 2025. “Medium-full red to brick-red colour; trace of purple in the rim. Dusty earth/terracotta bouquet, with a whiff of peppercorn and gumleaf in the background. A hint of berry coulis and a trace of toasty vanilla. The wine is medium-bodied and firm with balanced, fine-grained but assertive tannins that leave a dusty finish. Good drinkability and should take a few years of ageing in its stride. Great value.”

Mystery Gem | Barossa Valley | Shiraz Cabernet 2020

Nick Bulleid, Master of Wine, Aug  2024. "A flavoursome, mature Barossa that’s ready for you now. Mid-deep red-garnet colour. Fragrant, almost aromatic red berry nose. Good depth of red fruits and spices, finishing with fine, chalky tannins. Drink now to 2027."
